Is sending a text message from your computer to a verizon customer considered as using the internet for the..?

verizon customer?
Like if i send a text from my computer via email, to your cell phone and you recieve it, would it consider the cell phone user using internet? Just wondering.

No its a normal text message charge (well no charge if you have texting)
