How can I share a large computer screen with a laptop?

I would like to be able to share my desktop screen between the desktop PC and a laptop. Is this possible? How do I do this?

you'll need a kvm switch. pretty much you plug both video cables into the back and you you move the switch left or right depending on if you want the laptop or desktop to show. i found you an awesome price for one.
