my laptop screen light doesnt work anymore?

how do i get it fixed if i can. i know its not the computer cause i can see the screen in the right light. where can i get the laptop screen fixed? how much?

Did it fail all at once, or did it flicker for awhile before dying? There is a fluorescent light in your screen that actually provides the "light" while the LCD provides the image.
