Problems printing with Epson Stylus CX 4600?

I have and Epson Stylus CX 4600 printer/Copier/Scanner. It worked fine for about a year and then one day the ink got low. (this was not the first time I had installed new ink) I purchased the reccomended ink and properly installed it. Now when I print,

Maybe because your printer is too old and you should buy a new one. Or if your ink get too dry, dip your ink tank on a puddle of water and that should help. If not, get professional to help
