I am creating a drag racing game for the computer (freeware) and I was wondering if anybody here would be willing to explain the crucial things necessary on drag racing cars (not dragsters or funny cars, but just strait up muscle cars like on Pinks).
I think the biggest thing missing from racing games in general is the effect the total package has on a car's performance. Not just "Install carb #1 for 20 extra HP", but the combinations of different parts and how they work together (or don't).
