How do i reset my old compaq computer with no discs?

I just bought an old compaq windows xp computer from my school but it is so slow and filled with junk that I am overwhelmed does anyone know how I reset everything without the discs but if there is no way to do so without the discs then where may I find

Immerse it in gasoline. That will clear the hard drive and you'll be good to go.
